Welcome to the TAYplan Proposed Strategic Development Plan Portal

TAYplan operates on behalf of Dundee City, Perth & Kinross, Angus and Fife Councils. TAYplan’s key role is to prepare and maintain an up to date Strategic Development Plan for the area. This process has involved engagement and consultation with a number of key stakeholder organisations and the wider community. We are now at the Proposed Plan Stage.

Proposed Strategic Development Plan Period for Representations

The period for making representation on the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (2011), the Proposed Action Programme (2011) and the Equalities and Human Rights Impact Assessment (2011) closed on 1 August 2011. 

-On 25 October 2011 the TAYplan Joint Committee resolved to make no changes to the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (June 2011)

-The Proposed Strategic Development Plan (June 2011) and supporting documentation were submitted to Scottish Ministers on 1 December 2011.

-The Proposed Plan is presently being examined and is now the responsibility of the Scottish Government's Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA) - use this link to find more information about the Examination http://www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk/CaseDetails.aspx?id=qJ14349

All representations made on the Proposed Strategic Development Plan will be made publicly available, including your name/organisation and address.

By making representations you consent to our passing your contact information to the Scottish Government Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA). This is because DPEA may wish to invite you to an Examination in Public for the Proposed Plan to discuss your representation(s) and/or require further information from you.
